For the price, this is a very good whole house humidifier. It is in Arizona, where we live, dry, and my husband had problems with dry nasal mucosa, whereby such symptoms allegy. Humidifer a huge difference, at least five gallons of water in the living room make every day. House interior temperature is more comfortable than before, even with the AC set at 80 degrees.
It takes some effort to 2.5 liters of fuel (weight 20 kg supplement.) But that would be typical for a large humidifier. Bacterial-static solution for the prevention of algae, mold, etc., should be added with each refill.
My only complaint is that it is very loud at any speed above the minimum speed you normally use. There is also a very subtle vibrations advised that it was hardly noticeable. Even at low speeds, it may not be for use in the bedroom for those who are sensitive suitable. However, the noise (at minimum speed) is not as noticeable in other places. I want to buy this product again.

Humidifier is okay not sure how long it will last.
The product is okay. I have been running it non stop for 2 months. Cheaply made, floater gets stuck so sometimes you have to shake the humidifier so it will turn on after refilling.

Essick Air H12-400 3 Does it work: yes. Should you buy it? Maybe. It is hard to imagine how such a product could be designed and manufactured more cheaply. If I get one more than one season out of it I will be surprised. It makes me sad that American manufacturing has been decimated to the point that we have to tolerate so many cheaply made foreign products. With a bigger motor and more substantial construction this product could last many years.

This product doesn't look too bad, even when it's in the middle of everything like it is in our house. It is rather large and the instructions say it should be at least 4 inches from any wall, making the space required even larger. The quiet setting is very quiet, but doesn't seem to disburse enough moisture to leave the immediate area of the humidifier. The other settings are quite loud but effective. We generally fill the humidifier twice a day and leave it on the higher settings only when no one is home and it makes a noticeable difference in our ~1000 sq ft house. I would recommend it for the price!

I would recommend that holds variable-speed humidifier, as it has two 2.5-liter tank of the filter, two separate variable speed controls, one for the humidity ThermaStat humidity control and a second switch control the fan speed, quiet and use a moist environment, with quiet operation, which should not be filled twice a day if the tank is the usual 1:59 gallons total capacity. Bought a new one, and would recommend.

Does the job, bottles not interchangeable
I received this a couple days ago and so far so good. The humidity has gone from 40 to 50% in our house and it is much more comfortable. We do have a humidifier built into our furnace, but the high-efficiency furnaces just aren't on long enough to put out much water.
One caveat on this unit design with the angled corners - the right and left bottles are not interchangeable. With a rectangular type unit, when the right bottle empties you can switch the full left one to the right, fill the empty bottle and put it in the left. This way you were constantly cycling through fresh water fills while only needing to refill one bottle at a time. With this angle corner design unit, you really need to allow both bottles to empty, or at least refill both when you do refill in order to ensure fresh water is always feeding in. This also can cause waste of any antibacterial solution being used.
Other than that, works great and I would recommend.

This thing is great! I grew up with a humidifer in the house. This thing is 10X better than I expected! In Arizona this is a must. Those who say this thing sounds like a B-52, your crazy!!! It looks great and does an amazing job and keeping the house comfortable. Worth every penny!!! WOW!!!

I purchased my Bemis Credenza Variable Speed Whole House Humidifier in January 1994 from Home Depot. At the time it was model 6964, but I believe this is the successor. Have had this thing so long even the company changed hands (now owned by Essick). Anywho, I used this for about 8 Maryland winters to humidify a 2,000 sf house. Then we moved and have used it to humidify just our bedroom (about 400 sf) for the past 6 years. The wick usually lasts the whole season. Then it's cleaned out as directed at the end of the season, the fan blades are cleaned and the fan motor oiled, a cover is put on it to keep the dust out and it's ready to go for the next year. It has been fantastic! The only negative about it is the noise. When it was humidifying the whole house, it was not located near the bedrooms so when it started and stopped (in accordance with the humidity register), the noise didn't disturb us. However, now it is in the bedroom and I keep it on low fan speed continuously (sort of like "white noise") and we turn it off in the morning. Otherwise, I'd be up all nite as it shut on and off. Another slight issue is the cost of the wicks---as I was painfully reminded of it when I finally found one at Ace Hardware for (but then all of them seem priceythese days, don't they??). Nonetheless, it is one of the best household health appliances I have ever owned.

I don't think I need to write much about performance and options this camera has. If your already looking at it then you probably have an idea what this camera is capable of doing. This is a professional camera no doubt about that. And even though its 12 mega pixels it is a top performer. The speed and low light capabilities will amaze you, this camera is FAST.
One note about the video feature its only 720p, but if your like me I didn't buy the camera as a video recorder

BEWARE!-This is the second Canon XSI I've purchased-and retuned-from Amazon. The first was through a third party vendor and arrived without a warranty card. I should have known better. After receiving my refund i purchased another from Amazon.com. I checked the listing and under the heading "what's in the box" was included a" one year Canon USA limited warranty". The camera arrived without a warranty card. It's going back. This feels like a nasty bait and switch. Next time I'm going to B&H.

I currently own a Nikon D60 and a Canon point-and-shoot, and thought I was just buying this camera just because of the need for a new camera body. Weather sealing is splash resistant as well... which is more than most camera bodies can claim. I have had this out in pouring rain and had the basic (the K-7's kit lens if you buy the kit) 18-55 WR lens on it, and never had an issue.

The Nikon D40 is my first DSLR. For the price, it is a great starter camera. I've had mine for about two years now and I have taken it everywhere I travel to. The D40 is small compare to other DSLRs therefore it is a great camera to travel with. The KIT lens works wonderful for traveling also. Although is not telephoto, it is pretty wide for some cool shots.

I recently reviewed the E-P1 a couple months ago stating it would be my last camera. Well, I lied. I started getting into video more, so I wanted a camera with full manual control and 24P at an affordable price. That narrowed it down to a 7D, T2i, or GH1. I chose the GH1 mainly due to lens compatability and size. My feelings towards the camera were a bit cold at first. I knew that it was loaded with features, but I guess the E-P1's aesthetics (and my G11) just felt "warmer" when using it.
